This week, we start with AYDREN and “AFTER THE FALL (FEAT. MIKARA)”. The Seattle-based artist, a former tour guitarist, wrote this song to uplift and inspire. Musically, Aydren dances somewhere in the middle where synth-pop meets electronic pop. 

The artist says that, drawing from influences such as The Chainsmokers, Avicii, and Illenium, emotion and resonance were major themes in the songwriting process. They enlisted Mikara, a female vocalist from California, to feature, and so we have to say: Mikara was a good decision and: future pop alert.
