What/Who was your inspiration for „Heaven“?

The inspiration for Heaven is getting caught or lost in daydreams and fantasies about the future. How this can be enjoyable and comforting but can also be frustrating and limiting to a persons growth.

When do you say or decide that a song is ready for a release?

It’s very hard to know. I have a lot of demo songs that are arguable completed but don’t feel ready for release. I think working with other people and gauging their reaction or interpretation of the song is very useful but ultimately I think there is a moment where the song passes some invisible threshold and just feels ready.

What’s next for you?

Some more releases from Dream Eyes in the coming months, and rehearsing a live set also which will hopefully see Dream Eyes debut on stage very soon. Exciting times ahead!
