Happy New Year
Lockdown UK. 2020. New Years Eve. After the fireworks finished at midnight we went into the studio and recorded Happy New Year. The lyrics describe exactly what had happened 30 mins earlier with neighbours passing around a bottle , chatting on their phones whilst watching fireworks burn an arc across the sky. The song is deeply sentimental. Written as a message to future family it contains a strong message of hope. „Love is everywhere- Happy New Year.„
