She has collaborated with numerous producers, musicians and writers and provided material for labels including Mutesong, Polygram, Botchit, ZTT and Warners, Julie has also written top lines for TV ads including Evian, Freshbrew and Fabergé, pitched for major ad campaigns and showcased on BBC Soundtracks.

2 Gemma Cullingford

Her image as one half of Norwich queens of post-punk dark disco Sink Ya Teeth belies Gemma Cullingford’s naturally introverted nature, and with the duo enduring forced downtime during the pandemic she has produced a debut album with tracks that are often deeply personal and give an insight into the world seen through the eyes of this most self effacing of musicians. Debut album Let Me Speak was written and produced from Gemma’s humble home studio..

3 Realma

… is an intimate musical alter-ego of an independent Serbian/Chinese polymodal artist. Her music has been featured in Rolling Stone India, Calvert Journal, Music Crowns, Zile si Nopti, Vreme and numerous other media outlets across the world, as well as Femikseta 9 and 10 – yearly compilations of original music by Serbian female artists.

4 Makena Tate

Indie folk pop artist, Makena Tate, crafts songs on her guitar drawing inspiration from Holly Humberstone, Joni Mitchell, Del Water Gap, and her mentor, Kate Wallace. The Santa Barbara native currently attends Berklee College of Music where she studies songwriting and performance. Makena Tate’s captivating lyrics, memorable melodies, and mesmerizing performances guide her audience on an emotional journey of self reflection to show listeners they aren’t alone.

5 Nathalie Miranda

The voice and energy is distinctly Nathalie Miranda – the UK’s answer to the US Uber Divas. This artist is single-handedly paving her own way in this industry and there’s no doubt that she is 100% in the driving seat when it comes to her music. This diminutive singer experiments with different styles, refusing to be defined by a genre or by industry standards. Since 2017, Nathalie has released multi-genre music ranging from 80s inspired pop to Classic Rock/Pop, to traditional Greek music in honour of her Greek Cypriot heritage. Put simply, she draws on the music that has inspired her and skilfully adapts it to create her own inimitable sound.
