Emanuel Tägil is an experimental singer and songwriter from Sweden whose musical style evades any description. The similarities with other contemporary artists are sparse; think art pop flirting with yacht rock, Broadway, and RnB. Emanuel’s latest single The Draft, out today, is the fourth single from his upcoming album Veni Veni. It’s a text and synthesizer-driven alternative pop song. 

It utilizes a dramatic chord progression and vocal arrangements by two female vocalists, giving it some sacral and, at times, almost gospel-like vibes. It’s a love song revolving around the metaphor of the storm, or strong wind (draft), forcing you to „hold on to the doorframe.“
