Meet Simón, aka Simon Villamizar, a 17-year-old musical sensation from Miami with Colombian roots. His songs fuse Anglo and Latin vibes, influenced by the colorful and dynamic culture of Miami. Jona Camacho & Alfonso Ordoñez produced the song at Red Dot Studio in Miami, Florida. 

Simon crafted “Why I” when he was 16 years old. This song is part of Simón’s debut EP, “Simón”, which is set to revolutionize a new genre that blends trap, urban, deep-pop and Latin fusion. The EP cover was designed by famous artist Federico Uribe, Simón’s buddy, and tweaked digitally by ArtBiz Design. The cover displays broken pencils that depict the struggles and difficulties that are exposed and tackled through writing. The EP is slated to drop by early fall of 2023.
