The Fictionals’ Post-Punk Elixir ‘Don’t Worry About The Time’

‘Don’t Worry About The Time’ by The Fictionals

When the music you long to hear on the radio remains absent or unplayed, the best course of action is to forge your own path.
The Fictionals

And so, The Fictionals were conceived, a band that now roams the ethereal airwaves with purpose. Their latest creation, ‘Don’t Worry About The Time,’ serves as a post-punk elixir, a second single that emerged just last week, breathing new life into our post-punk souls.

Drawing inspiration from New Wave and post-punk echoes, their creative indie rock reveals remarkable intensity. Expressive vocals engage in a melodic duel with the deliciously dirty guitar sound, while the beat section rhythmically treads forward. Around the 2:30 mark, the bass, true to its genre, briefly whispers its presence, adding a wonderful short and simple bassline.
Granting the guitar unrestricted freedom proves a stroke of brilliance, painting alternative hues on the imaginary canvas created by Cameron and Liam Wright, Jesús Menacho, and Phil Nachum.
With ‘Don’t Worry About The Time,’ The Fictionals seamlessly blend the familiar with the novel, heralding a future where their sonic magic continues to captivate us.
