‘Strange Behaviour’ – EGGER

‘Strange Behaviour’ is the debut track from the electro-experimental project EGGER, founded by Wolfgang Egger. Musically rooted in the electronic sound of the late 1980s, the song combines analogue synth sounds, pulsating sequences and dystopian soundscapes to create a hypnotic soundscape. In terms of content, ‘Strange Behaviour’ reflects the increasing irritation in dealing with technology. The central question: Why are our digital systems behaving more and more strangely – and what does that mean for us? The song does not provide answers, but opens up a space for doubt, amazement and unease. Is this development good or bad? Can we still stop it? EGGER channels this uncertainty into a sound that is retro but highly contemporary. The production is reminiscent of early Kraftwerk, John Foxx or the darker side of Depeche Mode – with a modern twist. The track is suitable for fans of synthwave, experimental and conceptual electronica. ‘Strange Behaviour’ is an acoustic commentary on the digital present. A soundtrack for a world that no longer quite understands itself.
