Further Excursions – Rogue FX

With “Further Excursions”, Rogue FX opens a new chapter in its own cartography: a 15-track journey through synthpop, Italo disco, synthwave and retro-futuristic club spaces. As the follow-up to Detours & Collisions, the compilation displays a clearer narrative structure – less dispersion, more focus, almost like an archive of hidden side roads that now merge into a coherent journey. The contributors – Perfect Female Type, UFO 1982 / Dugmasters, Dilemachine, Mayah Camara / ARPRAXIS, Dewar – expand the sonic spectrum without losing the common thread. Each track opens a new window, yet remains within the same building. Among the strongest moments are “We Belong (Around The World Remix)”, the melancholic, pulsating “We Leave With Nothing” and the new mashup “G Star Never Sleeps”, which fuses The City Never Sleeps and G Star 84 into a single, precisely interlocking hybrid. It is a collection that looks forward rather than back – as if Rogue FX were connecting the scattered threads of his recent years into a line that is far from reaching its end.
