Reflection – Left of Mars

With ‘Reflection’, Left of Mars explore a side of life most of us would probably rather leave untouched. The song revolves around things left unsaid, memories that refuse to disappear and emotions that, somewhere along the way, have lost their intensity. There is a certain sadness in the lyrics, but also something strangely familiar about them. It’s about looking back, questioning what went wrong and trying to make sense of what is left. Nothing feels forced here. ‘Reflection’ is a thoughtful, guitar-driven song that leaves a few questions hanging in the air long after the music stops.

Audition – LAUSCH

How much staging can reality withstand before we forget what lies behind it? LAUSCH tackle this question in ‘Audition’ and wrap it up in a powerful mix of alternative rock, progressive structures and atmospheric passages. Heavy guitars meet intricate rhythms and melodies that don’t always go where you’d expect them to. With a healthy dose of irony, the lyrics take aim at a society in which everyone plays a role, wears a mask and puts themselves in the spotlight. Entertainment and quick answers seem more important than depth and authenticity. Yet beneath the surface, things are simmering. ‘Audition’ is a song about facades, contradictions and the willingness to look more closely, rather than simply believing what is presented to you.

Kerzerl – Wortreich
